Digital Marketing Executive - Borough Broth
Help power Borough Broth’s digital growth across CRM, D2C, and web, turning bold, organic products into loyal customers through fast-moving, hands-on marketing.
About Borough Broth
We started Borough Broth in 2015 with one simple idea: make proper organic bone broth, the right way. No shortcuts. No powders. No nonsense. Just high quality British ingredients, slow simmered for up to 24 hours in our London kitchen.
We have been certified organic by the Soil Association since day one, and everything we do is built around that commitment. Our broths are wholesome, flavourful, and genuinely good for you, without compromising on either.
We are growing fast. New retail listings, a growing D2C business, and a community of customers who really care about what they put in their bodies. It is a brilliant time to join, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of it.
About the Role
This is a proper generalist role. You will own our CRM, website, D2C channel, and online product listings, keeping everything sharp, on brand, and performing. One day you might be building an email flow, the next you are updating product copy on a retailer portal. That variety is the point.
We are not looking for someone who needs a narrow brief. We want someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it. Someone who can hold several plates in the air at once, prioritise without being asked, and take real pride in the channels they own.
You will report into the Marketing Director and work closely day to day with the Sales team and the Social and Content team, as well as our agency and platform partners.
What You Will Be Doing
Digital: CRM, website and D2C
Own our CRM calendar across email and SMS, from planning to sending to learning from what the data tells you
Build and improve our automated flows, welcome journeys, win-back campaigns, and post-purchase sequences that turn one-time buyers into regulars
Grow our subscriber base and keep improving engagement, making every send feel worth opening
Own the Borough Broth website as a commercial asset, keeping it up to date, on brand, and always working hard for conversion
Lead ongoing improvements to the site, from seasonal updates to campaign pages, with a good eye for what makes people buy
Own D2C performance, running campaigns that drive trial and repeat purchase, and working with Operations to make sure the customer experience is brilliant end to end
Brand, content and online listings
Make sure Borough Broth looks and sounds like Borough Broth across every channel you touch
Work closely with the Social and Content team so that what we are doing in email and on site connects with what is happening on social
Brief content clearly and on time so the team can do their best work
Bring your own ideas to campaign planning and seasonal moments
Own our Brandbank presence, keeping product copy, imagery, and nutritional information accurate and on brand across all retailer portals
Your First Year
First three months
Get properly stuck in. Learn the brand, the products, and the customers. Understand where each channel is today. Start making things better.
By six months
You have a clear rhythm across all your channels. CRM is running well and improving. The website is in good shape. D2C is building momentum. Listings are tidy and current.
By twelve months
You have made a visible difference. CRM engagement is up. D2C is growing. The channels you own feel well run, well considered, and distinctly Borough Broth.
About You
You love the variety of owning multiple channels and you do not need someone to tell you what to prioritise. You are just as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are writing a punchy subject line, and you bring energy and care to both.
You will be brilliant in this role if you:
Have experience in a marketing role in food, FMCG, or a consumer brand you are proud of
Know your way around a CRM platform (ideally Klaviyo) and understand what makes a good email
Are confident managing a website with a commercial head and an eye for detail
Understand what drives D2C performance (ideally on Shopify)and how to move the numbers
Can hold multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Communicate clearly and work well with people across different teams
Have some familiarity with Brandbank or retailer portal content management, though this is a bonus not a must
Care genuinely about food, health, and building a brand that stands for something
