Head of Brand - FMCG Start-up
Join our client on their mission to eliminate single-use plastic and become a key player in shaping one of the UK's most beloved sustainable brands as their new Head of Brand Marketing!
Our client is on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic from your bathroom, and they've grown rapidly in the past four years.
We're looking for a Head of Brand, initially reporting directly to our CEO, you'll define the brand strategy, lead significant product campaigns, and advocate for customer insight, all while helping build one of the most beloved sustainable brands in the UK and beyond.
What you'll do:
- Develope a comprehensive brand strategy to enhance awareness, sentiment, and market reach, aiming for measurable business results.
- Lead the creation and execution of the annual marketing plan aligned with the commercial and sustainability goals.
- Manage end-to-end marketing for product launches in D2C and retail, covering positioning, messaging, and market execution.
- Champion the customer voice for both qualitative and quantitative insight.
- Build an internal content engine for creating engaging and culturally relevant content across channels.
- Oversee brand awareness activities across paid, owned, and earned channels including partnerships, PR, and content.
- Strengthen the brand’s tone and creative identity across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure new products align with the brand and values.
- Lead and grow a high-performing brand marketing team with scalable, agile processes.
- Define and report brand KPIs, sharing insights with the wider business.
Who you are:
- You have significant brand marketing leadership experience in fields like FMCG, beauty, lifestyle, or D2C (ideally a combination of blue chip and startup brands).
- You've had an impact in the success of high-growth brands.
- You've got proven capability in building brand strategies and creative campaigns.
- You have experience in product marketing for multiple launches.
- You have a strong customer-centric approach with leadership and communication skills suitable for fast-paced settings.
This role is not for you if you prefer a purely creative role over a strategic one, or if you focus primarily on growth marketing. This role is about brand strategy, maintaining consistency, and driving business goals.
💸 Salary: £70k - £85k DOE
🏡 Logistics: Shoreditch office (Mon & Fri WFH)
