The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced entrepreneurial Partnerships Strategy Consultant to help us build a vision for sponsorships and partnerships in Up World. We need a plan that is really achievable, the team is excited by and feel confident delivering and then a monthly check-in to ensure we achieve our targets. 

What is Up World?

Up World is a community and curated learning platform for ambitious start-up marketers. Our mission is to build marketers who drive exceptional growth and think like future leaders.

We really underutilise partnerships at the moment. We believe they could help us grow our membership effectively and we could generate more revenue from these relationships, so that we can invest in giving our members a richer experience. We want to build a robust strategy that grows revenue sustainably, while making the experience of our members BETTER. 

The Role

This is a strategic consulting role with a focus on delivering immediate impact. You’ll be responsible for:

1. Design a Partnership Strategy

   • Work closely with Hope who has been leading this to date to audit our current partnership approach, including revenue models, processes, and results.

   • Develop a clear, scalable strategy for partnerships that aligns with our community values and revenue objectives.

   • Recommend new collaboration models, such as commission-based agreements, affiliate programmes, or enhanced sponsorship offerings.

2. Create a Clear Implementation Plan

   • Develop simple, effective packages for potential partners, balancing short-term wins with long-term relationships that Hope really understands..

   • Streamline our sales and onboarding processes to improve conversion rates and reduce resource strain.

3. Ongoing Monthly Support

   • So that we make sure your plan becomes a reality, after a first sprint we think monthly check-ins to review progress against goals, address challenges, and provide strategic input as needed would be very valuable.
