Digital advertising is central to our client's growth. Itâs the first point of discovery for millions of their future customers, and a core part of how they learn about the brand and its award-winning products.Â
They want people to enjoy their ads, feel like theyâve learnt or questioned something, and of course, are motivated to make a change, as a sustainable brand.Â
To do this, they want to build an outstanding ad creative team, which is where this role comes in!
As Ad Creative Strategist youâll report into the Director of Growth, and be responsible for the strategy and execution of our ad creative. Youâll run the ad creative squad to concept
innovative ideas and bring them to life. Day to day youâll be working with creatives
(designers, videographers, editors) and growth marketers to create winning ads that help us engage customers and grow our business. Your week will be spent running ideation
sessions, in editing feedback loops, analysing performance, script writing or being on shoots.
What you'll do...
- Youâll lead ad concepting, bringing together the ad creative squad to generate ideas in a structured but energetic way.
- Youâll manage the production of those ideas against a timeline, from aiding script writing to supporting shoots to running editing feedback loops, working with in-house and external creatives to help execute.
- Youâll manage the testing of live ads, analysing the performance data and feeding this back to the creative who can start to iterate.
- Everything starts with insight - whether thatâs performance data or consumer insight - and youâll use that basis to build a function that consistently produces winning creative. We move fast and iterate a lot, knowing that a winning concept is never achieved in the first instance, but through analysis and tweaking.
You'll haveâŚ
- You have several years of experience as a creative or content creator, ideally in the social media space.
- You know how to shoot highly engaging content, and have a proven track record e.g. you can point to impactful content youâve made.
- Youâre confident analysing the data behind creative, and putting analysis into practice e.g. âhow can we improve a hook rate or a click through rateâ.
- Ideally youâve worked with Performance Marketing teams and understand how to scale an ad account.
- Youâre familiar with ad platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google.
- Youâre highly structured, can run productive meetings and hustle a process forward.
- You have experience working with creatives and understand how to get the most out of shoots and give rapid and constructive editing feedback
