Our B-corp client is a rapidly growing award winning food brand with big ambitions; in just nine years they’ve scaled to over 20,000 points of distribution with listings in high end stores and are the fastest growing brand in their category within the UK & a challenger brand in snacking.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be a senior leader in the Marketing team, working towards the goal of making our client the Nation’s favourite nut brand. You’ll report into the Marketing Director and directly manage a brand manager, social media executive and external team of freelancers and agencies.
The Head of Brand will lead campaign and project development for everything from partnerships to events and social media content, bringing together all functions of the business to deliver integrated UK campaigns that ladder up to the company OGSMs.
In a nutshell, you are responsible for:
· UK Brand & Product Campaigns
- This role will oversee all key UK marketing initiatives with responsibility for the brand tone of voice and all external facing touchpoints
- Manage the UK marketing calendar, coordinating teams and channels eg DTC and Sales to ensure that we are seamlessly working together
- Lead brand initiatives and activations to consistently and saliently communicate brand key messages from conception through to delivery
- Delivery of key product and packaging projects
· Shopper Marketing (Grocery)
- Be the strategic lead for our shopper marketing ensuring that our trade marketing strategy and commercial objectives are aligned and lead the implementation in the Grocery channel working with agency partners
- Flex long and short term planning. Ensure we have annual plans prepared by end of November whilst showing agility and ingenuity to make changes where needed as learnings are received and dynamics change.
- Deliver best in class creative for our shopper marketing utilising either our inhouse designer or wider agency partners to ensure the brand is brought to life in imaginative and creative ways at every touchpoint.
- Lead the sales and marketing team meetings to ensure all priorities and plans are aligned
- Be responsible for translating commercial objectives into immersive brand days and execute these effectively utilising partners and the wider team.
· PR & Partnerships
- Own the UK PR Consumer plan across print and digital media.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency or freelancers managing the workflow and goals and supporting them for success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for large scale partnerships and make decisions on smaller scale partnerships with recommend from BM
· Brand Activations
- In charge of sampling event strategy and roll out
- Work with Brand Manager to ensure we have the right internal team of BA’s and agencies to deliver on time and on spec
· Content and Community
- In charge of engaging with our most loyal and valuable customers and consumers - including Secret Squirrels, influencers and sales buyer VIPs
- Oversee organic and paid content and social strategy - ensuring we are producing engaging content that performs
· Internal Comms and Reporting
- Effective communication of brand plans to sales team and other relevant internal groups
- Provide tools and materials for the sales team to work effectively
- Overall responsibility for ensuring the budget is updated and on track.
- Report on brand KPIs and engagement metrics
Specific knowledge, qualifications, skills & experience required:
- Experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable experience in delivering ROI on marketing investment
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent head for numbers
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly Motivated
- A team player with confidence and enthusiasm
- An interest in food and drink
